Mechanical Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to lead the delivery of mechanical services on a high-profile hyperscale data centre project in Kouvola. This is a client-facing role within a multidisciplinary PMC team, responsible for ensuring that all mechanical systems—including HVAC, chilled water, fuel, plumbing, and other building services—are designed, installed, and commissioned to meet the client’s performance, cost, quality, and safety standards.

• Initial 12 month fixed term contract

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead mechanical services delivery across all project phases: design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover.
• Coordinate with other technical disciplines to ensure seamless integration and programme alignment.
• Oversee contractor performance and ensure compliance with specifications and safety regulations.
• Maintain clear communication with the client and stakeholders, providing updates and resolving issues proactively.
• Uphold quality assurance and control throughout the lifecycle of mechanical systems.
• Support the development and implementation of commissioning strategies and handover documentation.

Requirements:

• Proven experience managing mechanical systems on large-scale construction or data centre projects.
• Strong understanding of HVAC, chilled water, fuel, and plumbing systems.
• Excellent leadership, coordination, and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Fluent in English; Finnish language skills are a plus.
• Willingness to be based in Kouvola for the duration of the project.
