MEP Lead

TRS is seeking a dedicated professional to join one of the premier EPC firms in India. This role is pivotal in maintaining the highest standards of MEP works across our client's real estate/hospitality project sites.

Position: MEP Lead (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) 
Joining: Immediate
1 Year renewable contract

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring successful delivery aligned with project goals and within the parameters of time, cost, quality, safety, and compliance.
• Formulate and execute a comprehensive project delivery strategy encompassing design management, procurement, execution, testing, commissioning, and handover across all project phases.
• Direct project planning, scheduling, monitoring, and control from inception to completion, guaranteeing adherence to processes.
• Foster an agile, collaborative, and pragmatic project management culture, enhancing coordination and performance among team members and external entities.
• Assemble and lead high-performing project teams, cultivate client relationships, and maintain robust billing and collection practices.
• Represent TPL on-site, embodying the company’s values and serving as a brand ambassador.
• Prioritize client satisfaction and pursue opportunities for repeat business.

Essential Project Experience:

• Proven leadership in managing projects and teams within the commercial, residential, or real estate sectors.
• Minimum 6 years in senior roles such as GM/Head of MEP.
• Demonstrated project management expertise in MEP for at least one hotel project from concept to handover.

Exposure:

• Proficiency in planning software such as Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
• Familiarity with Building Information Modelling (BIM) and Virtual Design and Construction (VDC).

Key Skills: Technical Expertise:

• Design coordination during Schematic Design (SD) and Design Development (DD) stages with all consultants.
• Validation of Design Basis Reports (DBR), drawings, and Bill of Quantities (BOQ).
• Proficiency in value engineering.
• Adherence to project management and execution timelines.
• Budget formulation, management, and oversight.
• Comprehensive contract and vendor management, both pre- and post-contract.

Soft Skills:

• Leadership, communication, conflict resolution, negotiation, and managerial abilities.

Technical Skills:

• Specialization in MEP systems including Electrical, HVAC, Mechanical Ventilation, Firefighting, Plumbing, STP, ETP, Boiler, IBMS, etc.
• Experience with software such as AutoCAD, Microsoft Project, Revit, BIM, and SAP.
• Thorough knowledge of NBC, IE, NFPA, and IS regulations is essential.
• In-depth understanding of MEP, infrastructure, and ELV systems.
• Proficiency in English, Hindi, and Tamil is required.

Experience:

• 15 to 18 years in high-rise building projects, including residential, hospitality, commercial, and retail sectors.

Educational Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering.
2. A master’s degree is preferable.
3. Energy Manager certification is a plus.
