Purpose
Millwright Intermediate-Level position responsible for assembling of industrial major equipment/components, with moderate supervision.
Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to the following:
• Follows all HSSE guidelines
• Utilizes working knowledge and assistance of the installation of different types of major components like pneumatic drivers, electric drivers, and combustion drivers.
• Understands basic schematic diagrams with moderate supervision
• Read tape measure and basic math skills
• Capable of tack weld
• Knowledge of basic hand and power tools
• Must be able to work with the team in developing improved work processes for the department
• Align and calibrate machinery and equipment.
• Knowledge of special Millwright tool such as Optaling instruments, E-720, Flatness Machine, Induction heater, etc.
• Knowledge of Precise tools such as micrometers, Precision Instruments and pressure gauges, etc.
• Perform mechanic inspections
• Ability to torque machines and torque wrenches following torque values by specifications and Manufacture.
• Promotes and supports safety, production with a positive attitude
• Create and participate with daily JHA (Job hazard analysis)
• Requires employee to rarely type and use a computer and other office equipment, such as a copier, printer, calendar, telephones, etc.
• Requires frequent operation of heavy equipment such as crane, forklift, welding tools and scissor lift
Education, Skills, and Experience
• High school diploma
• Vocational or technical education a plus
• 2 years minimum as an assembler millwright
• Requires employee to stand for at least 90% of the time
• Requires employee to sit for at least 10% of the time
• Requires employee to occasionally inspect equipment, climb stairs or ladders and must be able to maintain balance on stairs or ladders without assistance.
• Must be able to communicate and respond to coworkers and emergency cues/alarms, in person and on the telephone, including use of mobile devices
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Requires work in outdoor conditions, including all weather conditions & unairconditioned facility
• Requires work on loud environment
• Requires moving and maintaining self constantly in different positions, stoop, kneel, crouch to accomplish tasks in various environments including tight and confined spaces
• Must wear all required PPE, including fire-retardant clothing, helmets, face shields, hearing protection, safety goggles, steel-toed boots, as applicable.
• Position rarely requires travel
• Position rarely requires employee drive
Duties are subject to change at any time according to the needs of the location or company. Other duties may be assigned, in addition to or in lieu of, those described above.
Must be able to complete and pass testing onsite during interview process.
Night shift:5pm-3:30am
