ROTATION: RESIDENT IN ASIA 90/21; RESIDENT IN WESTERN EUROPE 75/21
WORK SCHED: 10 HOURS A DAY 6 DAYS A WEEK
DURATION: CONTRACT (12 MONTHS RENEWABLE)

"TRS is looking for an experienced NDE Coordinator with excellent NDE quality control experience within the Oil & Gas Industry to join our well established international Client on the Mozambique LNG Project based at Afungi Site, Mozambique."

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Performs, plan, coordinate, and execute NDE process examinations and quality control functions for assigned projects that ensure the integrity of materials, welds, and components.
• Shall be responsible to develop, qualify, and/or implement non-destructive testing techniques and quality control procedures in support of fossil hydro operations.
• Support project budget development including planning, scheduling, implementation, and close out of inspection projects.
• Assure that inspection results documented, distributed, and maintained in accordance with approved document control processes.
• Ensuring that the requirements of the relevant project NDE Codes / Standards/ Specifications / Procedures are being implemented and complied with at all times.
• Monitoring NDE / PWHT activities and maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
• Produce daily reports as may be required and also any specific type of report which be requested from time to time.
• Highlight any noted sub - contractor deficiencies particularly those which may delay production progress, and to ensure that the appropriate corrective actions are implemented in a timely manner.
• Reviewing the NDE / PWHT results ( i.e. accurate interpretation of radiographs and review of the associated reports, also review PT,MT & UT reports ,PWHT charts /reports)
• Ensure that the NDE/PWHT records/charts are suitably boxed (radiographs) filed & indexed for ease of retrieval and traceability.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
• Minimum Certification / Diploma qualification or equivalent 12 years work related experience in field of study within Oil & Gas Industry.
• Level III certification per ASNT/SNT-TC-1A in Ultrasonic Testing (UT) and at least one of the following methods:
o Radiographic Testing (RT), Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), Visual Testing (VT), and Penetrant Testing (PT) in at least one of the following methods: Bubble Leak Testing, Infrared Testing (IR), Electromagnetic Testing (ET), Microwave Testing or Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR). Experience with phased array (PAUT) and/or automated UT scanning systems (ex. P-Scan) is a plus.
• Certification in AWS-CWI or CSWIP.
• Practical experience in Pre-heat & PWHT methods
• Trade background as either welder / boilermaker / pipefitter (Preferred)
• Ability to interpret drawings and welding symbols.
• Good computer skills i.e. MS Office programs
• AINDT and NATA recognition in NDE methods desirable.
