Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and maintain the Company SMS and ensure that all crew observe company policy and standing orders.
- Ensure all activities are carried out according to State, Class, Flag, Company and Client requirements, including accident reporting and dangerous occurrences.
- Ensure Vessel Management Manual/Procedures/Standing Instruction/Standing Orders are constantly kept up to date and take actions in order to ensure that actual requirements are maintained at all times.
- Ensure that on board training and drill program is prepared in due time as directed by Company and SOLAS/relevant requirements, monitor all person embarking/dis-embarking the vessel and maintain personnel on board (POB) records, ensure that the crew meets the requirements as per safe manning document issued by the flag administration and STCW Code.
- Maintain appropriate log and record certifications in accordance with State, Class, Flag, ISM, ISPS, MLC2006, SOLAS, MARPOL.
- Coordinates Vessel Management Team to ensure safe and efficient operation of the floater.
Qualifications and Skills Requirements:
- FPSO/FPU experience.
- OIM certificate.
- Minimum five (5) years of experience as a Captain/OIM.
- Immediate availability
- Must be proficient in English, oral and written communication.
