"TRS has a urgent requirement for Six (6) OFFSHORE PACKAGE ROTATING SPECIALISTS within the Oil and Gas Industry, who will be responsible for ensuring safe maintenance execution of Mechanical Equipment, compliant with HSE rules, legislative regulations and international standards, to join our leading international client's OFFSHORE CORAL PROJECT team based in MOZAMBIQUE"

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Set and promote Leadership in Safety attitudes.
• Bring leadership and supervision and provide support to team members in terms of technical and individual performance capability.
• Be responsible for supporting the close out of any gaps in the competency standards for all team members.
• Ensure that the services are carried out in strict compliance with Company and Client current HSE rules.

QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:

• Accredited Degree/Diploma Qualifications.
• Must have good knowledge of all types of rotating equipment, compressors, turbines, pumps, and motors and should definitely have advanced knowledge of mechanical seals and seal systems.
• Must have the experience to assist the planning team with maintenance interval and predictive vendor intervention planning.
• Must have the experience to take the lead in planning and delivery off work packs required for rotating equipment outages.
• Must have good knowledge of the design, operation, and maintenance of rotating machinery such as pumps, compressors, turbines, and generators.
• Must have a strong understanding of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and mechanical engineering principles.
• Must have a strong understanding of vibration analysis and the relations to issues such as misalignment, imbalance, and bearing defects.
• Must have a good understanding of rotor balancing principles, methods, and equipment.
• Must have the ability to align rotating equipment and asses the need and criticality.
• Must be able to perform predictive maintenance data analysis to predict when equipment will need maintenance or repair.
• Must have a strong understanding of the various indicators of equipment health to maintain equipment uptime.
• Must have expert root cause analysis process understanding and be able to identify underlying causes of problems or incidents.
• Must have expert troubleshooting skills.
• Must have a good understanding spare parts and material requirements for maintenance activities and to support corrective actions and all types of rotating equipment.
• Must have the experience to take the lead in planning and delivery off work packs required for rotating equipment outages.
• Must have fluency in English and adequate communication skills to develop and train nationals resources to satisfy the future nationalization plan.
