Piping Designer

An exciting opportunity has become available for Piping Designers to join a leading Oil & Gas organisation that provides bespoke Engineering solutions to Clients and Projects globally. This is an initial 9-month contract opportunity based at their offices in the Hampshire/Surrey area. These roles are outside IR35.

As a Piping Designer you will be responsible Piping design and Layout, assisting Lead Piping Designer on a variety of piping design projects. You will assist in delivering piping design packages on projects. Providing support to the Engineering Project Teams in the execution of Projects. Support bid and proposal requests. You will also generate plot plans and other bid deliverables in support of proposal work. The ideal candidate for the role will have a HNC in Mechanical Engineering or similar. Strong experience in Piping Design preferably using SP3D Piping software. Previous experience working within an Engineering organisation, supporting multiple disciplines. Previous experience of developing basic and detailed plant layouts.
