Plant General Manager

TRS Middle East is working with a leading Operations Company in KSA and are looking for a Plant General Manager to join their team. Details for the job are below.

Key Accountabilities

Strategy & Plans
▪ Assure the quality of the respective business renewable energy
operation strategy to ensure it is fit for purpose and aligned with
overall organizational objectives.
▪ Regularly report to the line manager on the mobilization and
operational activities of department, challenges and issues faced,
mitigations taken, etc. as required, to keep them informed and updated
on the department's activities.
▪ Active participation in business development and mobilization activities
including planning and execution.

Responsibilities:

▪ Assist the Renewable Energy plants to ensure all the quality of all
aspects of the mobilization, operation and maintenance
▪ Work together with HQ departments, country and plant teams to assure
a consistent quality of mobilization, operation and maintenance is met
▪ Work with the Monitoring and Prediction to assure the efficiency of the
Renewable Energy plants is assessed and monitored on daily basis and
implement best practice solutions to deliver against business targets.
▪ Work with the expert centre and PAT teams to ensure proper expert
support is provided
▪ Develop, maintain, and implement plans and procedures for the
identification of the main performance improvement areas as well as
the implementation of cost-effective tools for the minimization of
production losses.
▪ Assist in developing and implementing the Standard Best Practice
Guidelines (Operations, Maintenance and Loss Prevention) for the
Renewable Energy plants, to ensure NOMAC follows best in class
policies and procedures.
▪ Assist to ensure that the Annual Operating budget for the respective
plants are delivered in a timely manner
▪ Develop tools to be used for the different plant's assessment activities
such as performance optimization, production forecast and
plant/systems efficiency monitoring etc., to ensure consistency of data
generation across plants.
▪ Monitor and analyse data on Renewable Energy plant systems to verify
project performance and energy and cost savings
Issue Resolution
▪ Lead the support to ensure successful mobilization and operation of
renewable projects in all aspects
▪ Lead the support in resolving major faults escalated to minimize
disruption during operations.
▪ Manage Root Cause Analysis reporting ensuring lessons are shared and
learned and similar.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:

Minimum Qualifications:
▪ A Bachelor degree holder in Engineering
Minimum Experience:
▪ 8 - 10 years preferably in Power Plants.
▪ Experience in Renewable Energy Plants will be an added advantage.

Skills:
▪ Extensive leadership experience
▪ Extensive experience and know-how of techno-commercial aspects
▪ Awareness of Quality, Occupational Health & Safety and Environment

Management System Principles.

▪ Experience of performance monitoring
▪ Excellent communication and inter-personal skills
▪ Technical expertise in a given area
▪ Thorough understanding of the business value chain
▪ Experience of working with Power Purchase Agreements
▪ Strong O&M experience
