Procurement Coordinator

TRS Staffing Solutions is looking for a Procurement Coordinator in the Amsterdam area. You will be responsible for providing procurement related services and execute this with a focus on ethics and professionalism, while making sure what you do is economically advantageous without losing sight of the specs and critical project time lines. You will negotiate on the company’s behalf with suppliers for the best deal possible. As an experienced procurement professional, you will also be responsible for your procurement team (coaching, guiding, developing and helping if necessary). In this position you will also be in close contact (and collaboration) with all internal (project) stakeholders.

Requirements

We are looking for a persuasive entrepreneur with good negotiating skills. You are accurate and a good planner. Furthermore:

• You have a Bachelor’s degree: technical or commercial.
• 8-10 years of commercial procurement experience within oil & gas industry.
• Excellent communication, negotiating and interpersonal skills.
• You’re persistent, persuasive and demonstrate good organizational awareness.
• Furthermore you’re good in determining and prioritizing tasks and remain accurate in a (sometimes) hectic and demanding (project) environment.
• Very good command of the English language (verbal and written) is a must. Dutch language skills are a very nice bonus.
