Summary

This position is primarily to carry out the function of parts and consumables procurement expediting for the maintenance of equipment on site. It requires good communication skills and a strong phone presence. Experience in Excel is advantageous.

Principal Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Expediting of parts as required by the maintenance team procurement group
• Expediting of Equipment, Tools and Consumables on a lessor basis
• Maintain corporate policies and procedures regarding procurement
• Maintain a data base of best vendors for parts
• Work with procurement in the corporate offices to assist with best prices and best delivery on parts
• Assist with the Warehouse with regards to stocking, receiving, vouchering, etc.
• Direct inventory cycle counts and adjust inventory as required
• Set up agreements with vendors for return of parts
• Source alternative vendors when backorders are a challenge
• Return parts to vendors when machines are de-mobilized
• Track warrantable replacement parts
• Ensure cores are accounted for and returned in a timely manner
• Identify and utilize areas where cost-savings are an opportunity
