Procurement Manager

My client is a leading consultancy within the infrastructure sector and are currently recruiting for a Procurement Manager to join their fast growing team on a permanent basis in Stratford.

Job Role:
-Provide specialist procurement strategy advice to public and private sector clients
-Managing end to end procurement services on major infrastructure related projects
-To support the development of the procurement services provided
-Supporting the delivery of both team and wider business targets
-Support bid preparation and proposal documentation and the work winning capability of the contract services division

Requirements:
·Degree qualified
·MRICS, MCIPS, MCIOB or working towards these qualifications
·Confident in NEC 3 form of contract
·Excellent communication skills
·Experience working on major capital programmes and complex projects
·Previous experience working in a client focused environment with the ability to work closely with both clients and other consultants

Desirable:
·OJEU experience is preferable
·Public sector procurement experience, ideally in roads, rail or utility
·Capable of leading projects from start to finish with minimal supervision
·Possess bid writing experience for assisting with submissions
·Experience in any of the following:

-Developing commercial governance procedures, processes & systems
-eSourcing and/or eEvaluation systems
-Developing packaging strategies
-Tender and contract documentation production
-Running tender processes
-Commercial management
-Contract management
-Early market engagement
-Risk and opportunity management
