Product Application Engineer

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our client as a Product Applications Engineer, based at their facility in Ladson, SC. You will join a small, friendly team to provide technical sales support for customers.

Responsibilities:
• Act as a Project Manager on engineering bid packages/orders.
• Prepare quotes and supporting documentation and do follow up with customers and after sales communication.
• Domestic and international periodic travel maybe required to support sales, perform customer site assessments, attend trade shows and training.

Requirements
• BS Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
• 2 - 3 years Engineering experience in a chemical or manufacturing facility is preferred but not required.
• Ability to interpret P&ID’s and possess knowledge of process engineering basics.
• Prior experience with tank vents and flame arresters including applicable standards such as API 2000, NFPA 69, etc. is preferred but not required.
• Experience with ERP software is preferred but full training would be provided.
