Responsibilities:
Project Management
• Generate and manage digital and physical project folder
(Build details, special work instruction, QC check list by HIN, materials BOM and schedule)
• Purchasing Plan & Oversight (manage budget and delivery)
• Hold & manage quick SOP kick off meeting to communicate specific boat build requirements with sales and production teams
• Communicate status & KPI’s daily with sales & ownership
• Final “target to actual review” on milestone date deliverables and budgets. Use this information to drive improvements in production and purchasing
• Handle and escalate project concerns or non standard issues
Production
• Create and manage complete daily schedule for all each job center (process)
• Work with production leads to set efficiency targets on a micro/macro level
• Understand available capacity based on constraints and plan accordingly to hit deliverables
• Track daily production results and WIP inventory at a granular level.
• Hold production team accountable for delivery, 5S, cost, safety, environment, and quality
• Help develop systems to improve production control
Qualifications:
• Minimum 3 years experience with production control at manufacturing facility.
• Marine industry experience a plus but not required
• Must have expert excel or similar tool for creating and tracking schedules
• Ability to grow in organization, build team, and take on additional model responsibilities
• Hands on individual who can manage their time and get things done
• Communicate results daily to ownership and present weekly results with quick presentation
• Must be a leader
