Project Director

We are seeking an accomplished Project Director with a proven track record delivering major lump sum EPC/LSTK projects within the oil & gas and energy sector. The successful candidate will bring extensive experience in pipeline installation projects and have held senior leadership roles with globally recognized engineering and construction companies or similar Tier 1 EPC organizations.

This is a leadership role requiring exceptional project execution, commercial management, stakeholder engagement, and team leadership capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct the execution of large-scale EPC/LSTK projects from award through commissioning and handover.
• Provide strategic leadership to multi-disciplinary project teams across engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning phases.
• Manage project delivery against schedule, budget, quality, and HSE objectives.
• Lead commercial and contractual management activities including risk mitigation, claims avoidance, and change management.
• Develop and maintain executive-level relationships with clients, JV partners, contractors, and key stakeholders.
• Drive project governance, reporting, forecasting, and performance management.
• Ensure compliance with contractual requirements and company standards.
• Mentor senior project personnel and promote a high-performance project culture.

Required Experience

• Degree qualified in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum 18 years of industry experience, including 10+ years in Project Director or Senior Project Management positions.
• Demonstrated delivery of large-scale lump sum EPC/LSTK projects.
• Strong background in pipeline installation projects
• Proven experience working for leading international EPC contractors
• Experience managing multicultural teams across multiple locations.
• Strong understanding of EPC project controls, contract administration, procurement, and construction management.
