Here is an exciting opportunity to join our Engineering Consultancy client in Calgary as a Project Engineer! You would be working within a growing team on projects worldwide. The successful candidate for this role will be working within the energy and petrochemical sectors establishing a course of action within limits of company practices and guidelines for all related project activities.
Job Duties:
- Supports the Engineering and/or Project Manager in deliverables related to scope of work and engineering packages
- Collaborates with various stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution
- Provides technical knowledge towards engineering design and development, and monitors project budget, quality and potential risks associated with the project.
- Ensuing adherence to project quality standards
- Good understanding and experience in multiple phases of project execution.
- Extensive knowledge of the engineering and construction industry.
- Accredited degree in applicable field of study
- Professional Engineer background, P.Eng is preferred
- Successful project delivery as a Project Engineer on large capital projects
- 5+ years of experience in project engineering within EPC/EPCM projects.
