The client provides services and products to both the onshore and offshore Oil & Gas Industries throughout Australia. Our expertise covers Upstream and Downstream Process, Pipeline Pre-Commissioning and Well Testing.

About the Opportunity

To support our continued growth, we are searching for experienced Project Engineer to join the team in our facility. We have opportunities for the right candidate the opportunity to work in our growing organisation with a dynamic working culture, along with the potential to be a part of Australia’s prominent energy, resources and infrastructure industry. The role is Perth based however offshore and onshore projects will require you to travel.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

Experience in Pipeline and pre-commissioning in a Project Lead Role
Sound technical knowledge of Oil and Gas Industry.
Experience in a mechanical background.
Strong personal leadership, management and supervisory skills.
Must have strong communication skills, confident and articulate with the ability to negotiate and influence others.
Ability to build strong relationships across the business.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Develop and maintain customer relationships.
Sound technical knowledge of Pipeline and Process Testing operations and the equipment used.
Strong business acumen, experience in budget ownership, profit and loss, and financial reporting.
Strong quality focus is a must and able to prioritise tasks with minimal supervision.
Relevant computer design skills in both 2D and Basic 3D drawing packages.

Core Role Responsibilities

Preparation of Project documentation and reports.
Assist with preparation of tenders including preparation of method statements, equipment lists and pricing schedules.
Focal point for allocated Project for both the customer and internal stakeholders.
Co-ordination and Monitoring of Job performance.
Responsible for overseeing daily site operations.
Define all operational requirements contained within the Project Contract and verify that all actions are performed in accordance with procedures and deadlines.
Ensure QA and HSE requirements are met.
Oversee general daily functions performed/assigned to subordinates.
On-the-job monitoring of tasks and activities.
Planning and monitoring progress against deadlines and amendment of work packs / Procedures / MOC.
Ensure compliance with Quality and HSE Management System by ensuring that all operational requirements are performed / completed in accordance with agreed procedures.
Adhering to Company’s policies and procedures.
