Project Manager (ICI)

Our client, an established multi-trade contractor in the ICI sector, is currently looking for a Project Manager for their team in Toronto, ON. The ideal candidate will be experienced in ICI projects, specializing in high value tenant renovations.

Responsibilities:
• Lead and deliver prestigious projects of $20M+
• Prepare and evaluate RFPs
• Hold pre-project meetings and adhere to strict deadlines till project completion
• Be mobile to make site visitations to ensure deadlines are being met
• Confer with clients and provide solutions as needed
• Create schedules for equipment, materials and manpower adhering to budget limitations
• Maintain great relationships with internal and external customers, as well as manage client expectations
• Implement root cause analysis to discover problems and produce the best recommendations
• Ensure all health and safety standards are met

Qualifications:
• 6+ years of relevant experience in managing multi-million renovation projects in ICI from start to completion
• Bachelor in Civil/Architectural/Structural/Mechanical Engineering/Design from a reputed Canadian University
• PMP or equivalent certification
• Expert understanding of Ontario Building Code, National Fire Code and BCIN
• Keen expertise in reading drawings
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage high volumes of work in a deadline oriented environment
• Seamless ability to manage projects whilst adhering to health and safety standards
• Excellent written and communication skills
• Technical Skills: AutoCAD

The chosen candidate will be required to go through a Background Check and must possess a Clean Driver’s Abstract.
