"TRS is looking for a Quality Control Superintendent who will be responsible for supervising and implementing site quality assurance and quality control system, in compliance with the quality applicable standards and specifications, with HSE requirements and project schedule based in Basra, IRAQ"

JOB DESCRIPTION:
• Reading and interpreting design schematics to ensure the proper installation.
• Support Construction, verifying mechanical, electrical, painting, instrumentation and telecommunication works are carried out in compliance with project drawings, specifications and applicable international codes and standards.
• Good knowledge of Welding Processes, NDE Practices and Materials
• Verifying that utilised bulk materials are certified and in compliance with project specifications and applicable standards
• Providing technical support, troubleshooting and technical solutions
• Supervising all activities related to Quality Control and Quality Assurance of inspection of work packages completed (i.e. all welding and bolt-up assemblies).

QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
• High School Diploma and preferably Engineering Technical Degree
• Required proof of any certification obtained (ASMP, EPIA, LEVEL 2 VP, LEVEL 2 RT FILM INTERPRETATION, AWSCWI, AWSAWI, API 510, API 570 and/or any other credentials).
• Experience in Oil And Gas Projects
• Knowledge of ASME Sec. I, ASME Sec. II, ASME Sec. VIII, ASME Sec. IX, ASME B31.1, & ASME B31.3.
• IT: good knowledge of MS Office Package, preferred knowledge of Mechanical Completion management software
• Quality: Basic knowledge of QA/QC Construction Management Systems
• HSE: Basic knowledge of construction and commissioning HSE requirements and standards implementation
• Facilities: Basic knowledge of main process schemes for oil and gas treatment, applicable standard and specifications, plants construction and commissioning
• A general knowledge of construction and in-depth understanding of welding and/or work specific as per client requirements (mechanical, electrical, painting, instrumentation and telecommunication works).
• Fluency in written and spoken English
