Quality Engineer

Our client, a leading rail manufacturer, is hiring a Quality Engineer at their Dallas, TX headquarters. This is a direct hire opportunity offering competitive pay and bonus structure with a company that is rapidly growing!

DUTIES:
• Key team member supporting the conversion of the QMS into the next generation software based QMS.
• Acting as a technical resource within the Quality Assurance Department to ensure the timely and proper creation, modification and release of QMS documents
• Analyze and measures the effectiveness of existing business processes and develops sustainable, repeatable and quantifiable business process improvements
• Serve as Quality Assurance representation on project teams by providing guidance for maintaining compliance to regulatory and corporate requirements
• Applying continuous improvement principles in the development of the quality management system
• Determines how new information technologies can support reengineering business processes
• Leading Root Cause/Corrective Action projects as well as applying Risk Mitigation Tools
• Performing audits at facilities
• Travel to facilities up to 50% will be required to perform duties

REQUIRMENTS:
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline preferred with minimum of 7 years of relevant experience
• Computer literate; able to utilize MS Office Suite, MS SharePoint
• Ability to conceptualize, analyze, plan and organize projects
