JOB TITLE: Quality Engineer

EXPERIENCE RANGE: 5-8 years of experience in Power projects in Transmission & Distribution Substation.

EDUCATION QUALIFICATION: B.E./B. Tech./B.Sc. and 1-year regular PG Diploma/Advance Diploma.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
1.To ensure all the operational activities in accordance to documented QCQA Policy, FQP and Management System.
2. To comply with local QCQA legislation and with the international regulations and standards as applicable.
3. Report to Contractor, Operator's Project Manager & Quality Manager on daily basis. Preparation of weekly and monthly QCQA reports in mutually agreed format at the end of every week and month respectively.
4. To prepare & Provide the activity wise detailed project construction and quality inspection and take written acceptance from SP Project Manager prior to start the work.
5. Materials receipt, inspection, storage and preservation, check & approve receipt of Materials as per QAP & verify BOM, MTC, MRN, Packing List etc.
6. Service provider shall implement the approved quality manuals as per the defined scope. Implement Substation Equipment installation and testing commissioning as per FQP, Checklist, SOP and testing procedure.
7. Civil Construction activities should be performed as per Approved drawing & Foundation Quality Manual. All quality checklists shall be filed at work site and actual site data shall be recorded; the signed checklist shall be a part of JMC certification.
8. Service provider shall facilitate and provide all required evidences to Quality audit and close all NCs and Observations with proper evidences.
9. Prepare weekly & Monthly Management Reporting, Contractor Field Quality Report, Contractor Material Quality Report.
