For our client's project in The Netherlands we are seeking experienced Quantity Surveyors to support progress measurement and payment verification across our construction projects. In this role, you will ensure accurate quantity confirmation, validate contractor invoices, and support contract change management.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Verify construction quantities and progress for payment and invoice approval.
  • Coordinate measurement activities with the Construction Management team.
  • Maintain accurate field measurement notes, calculations, and assumptions.
  • Support the Contract Administrator with RCAs and Project Cost Alerts (PCAs).
  • Review contractor change proposals for accuracy and alignment with contract terms.
  • Assist with evaluating and negotiating change requests.
  • Provide input for cost forecasts and support communication with Engineering, Contracts, Construction, and Project Controls.
  • Contribute to change analysis, risk assessments, and historical quantity data.
  • Monitor contract changes and PCAs for commitments and forecasting.

 

Key Requirements:

 

  • Strong background (10-15+ years) in quantity surveying, progress measurement, or project controls.
  • Experience in construction projects (industrial, infrastructure, or similar).
  • Solid understanding of contract change processes and cost verification.
  • Detail‑oriented, analytical, and comfortable engaging with multiple project stakeholders.
