"Looking for your next career move? TRS Staffing Solutions is seeking a SENIOR QUANTITY SURVEYOR to join our client’s large-scale project based in MALAWI"
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- To lead, manage and prepare cost estimates, audits projects, manage construction revenue and costs and administer construction contracts.
- Measurement and certification.
- Budget & Cash management.
- Contractual conditions, legal compliance, and administration.
- Estimation.
- Cost Reporting.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
- BSc Quantity Surveying (QS) or Equivalent, Honours qualification in the field will be an advantage.
- Building Construction or any relevant qualification.
- Registration with professional bodies will be a requirement (IBQS).
- Certified Coding Specialist (CCS).
- Contract law and insurance.
- Quantity Surveying.
- Basic financial reporting.
- Construction methods and outputs, programming, and scheduling.
- SHEQ legislation.
- Basic IR, including relevant labour legislation.
- At least 8-10 years’ experience in a similar position and business strategy, contract management, commercial and legal management; operational planning and implementation.
- Valid Driver’s license is essential.
