Railway Engineer (Civil)

For one of our clients in the civil engineering sector we are currently looking for a Railway Engineer to work on a major rail project in Saudi Arabia. This is a long term opportunity with a leading civil engineering consultancy.

Job Description:

• Experience in all duties of Railway Engineer at site including: - Checking and approving submittals by contractors
• QA/QC of works, - coordination between various disciplines/contractors to ensure construction quality and design compliance
• Knowledge of international and local best practices and building codes in design and delivery of railway projects
• Confident in Client & Contractor interfacing, managing and coordinating with a team of specialists
• Thorough knowledge of construction specifications - contracts will be an advantage
• Demonstrate advanced computer literacy in Microsoft Office applications: MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook

Minimum Requirements:

• Has a Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering
• Not less than 15 years’ Experience in DESIGN and SUPERVISION on the execution of Railway Projects
• Experience with site supervision consultants
• Ability to Audit and Revise Design specifications and plans
• Competent in Computer Aided Design programs
