Location: Duncan, SC
Industry: automotive manufacturing
Status of Hire: full-time, direct hire
Reports to: HR Manager
Compensation: $55-65k, depending on experience
Objective: lead efforts in finding, attracting, engaging, and hiring technical talent from production floor to top management positions in a fast-paced, manufacturing environment.
The ideal candidate will be someone who understands the automotive manufacturing sector and is skilled in building diverse networks and pipelines of candidates through a combination of job fairs, search tools, social media, and both internal and external candidate databases.
Responsibilities:
Work with technical managers and supervisors to identify needs in the plant and execute effective recruiting strategies to engage top talent.
Full lifecycle recruitment efforts for all positions, from sourcing, phone screening, and scheduling interviews, to extending job offers.
Build and maintain a network of talent through ongoing relationship management.
Establish relationships with hiring managers and proactively report on pipeline activity to facilitate effective recruiting/hiring discussions.
Measure performance metrics to drive continuous improvement in technical sourcing.
Find and engage passive candidates through creative sourcing techniques.
Enter data into applicant tracking system and HRIS.
Must have:
3+ years’ experience as a technical recruiter successfully sourcing candidates across a multitude of open plant, production, engineering, and management level roles.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related a plus.
Self-starter with the ability to communicate effectively in a multi-cultural work environment with different management and personality styles.
Ability to engage passive talent.
Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced business environment.
Passion for building a consistent, diverse, and high-level pipeline.
Customer-focused attitude, with high level of professionalism and discretion.
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality, establish trust and credibility, and act with complete integrity.
Detail-oriented, resourceful and diligent.
Strong time management and organizational skills.
Sound judgment and problem-solving skills.
