Resource Estimation Geologist

TRS Staffing is seeking a SENIOR GEOLOGIST for a very exciting permanent opportunity. Our client is an international mining consulting company that services clients throughout the world. This position will be based in Toronto, ON.

Focus: Project consultation with projects in North America and Internationally with diverse focuses including resource estimation, technical reporting, feasibility studies, scoping, operational consultation, modelling,

Key Details:
• Relevant education from a reputable institution – Geology; Mining Engineering.
• Minimum of 8-10 years of resource estimation experience
• Professional registration or eligible for licensing with PEO/APGO
• Computer modelling and resource estimation software (Leapfrog, Vulcan, Datamine…)
• Experience with a variety of mining operations – Underground and Open Pit
• Experience with Geostatistical calculations and computerized resource estimation
• 3D geological modelling experience
• Entrepreneurial with an established network in the mining industry
• Strong communication skills
• Leadership abilities with mentoring skills
• Ability to travel both nationally and internationally
• Asset if you have previous consulting experience
