Here is an exciting opportunity with a leading global Oil and Gas client in Saudi Arabia as a Resource Planning Specialist! Our client specializes in world-scale mega projects and offers top compensation rates as well as technical, professional, and industrial development!

The Resource Planning Specialist is responsible for analyzing project schedules, and company productivity. Moreover, the successful individual would be responsible for forecasting the remaining efforts that are required to remain aligned with the projected timeline of the project.

Job Duties
• Perform gap analysis to determine strategies for minimizing the gap, also assessing operational effectiveness
• Create and apply planning strategies that can provide guidance to management to ensure that employees are able to achieve the organization’s objectives
and values
• Use workforce analytics to identify company strengths and where there might be gaps. Also, the Resources Planning Specialist is responsible for using metrics
to maximize resource capacity planning and labor utilization rates.
• Must have extensive knowledge of planning and scheduling practices, as well as experience using ORACLE Primavera software versions 15.2 or later.
• Ability to create Manhour/ Manpower histograms
• Responsible for creating a WBS that contractors can refer to create schedules and progress measurement systems
• Familiar with concepts like Man-hours, Full time Equivalents, and other measures of productivity
• Responsible for communicating with stakeholders on the team to receive information required to conduct forecasts

Key Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management
• 15-20 years of project planning experience
• 4-6 years of experience developing manpower forecasts for mega-projects in varying industries like the Oil and Gas Industry, Infrastructure, Refinery, etc.
• PMI and AACE (PSP) Certifications is an asset
