"TRS has a urgently requirement for an Offshore Rig Superintendent (OIM) with Jack Up project experience within the Oil and Gas Industry to join our leading international client's Offshore project team based in SAUDI ARABIA."

JOB DESCRIPTION:
• Take command of the offshore drilling rig (Jack up, Temporary Utility Barge) according to International Conventions/Regulations, Flag State requirements and local regulations, implementing safety/environmental policy of the Company.
• Act as Safety leader of the offshore drilling rig and ensure compliance with international/local laws as well as Flag State, Class requirements, International Conventions and Company policies.
• Act as fully conversant with ISM Code (and/or SOLAS).
• Act as fully conversant with MARPOL.
• Act as the Ship Security Officer as defined in the ISPS Code. Apply all the Codes requirements.
• Apply MLC2006 requirements.
• Act as OIM as defined in IMO resolution A. 1079 (28).
• Organize drilling, well completion, work over activities in accordance with Client programs, Client procedures, contractual requirements.
• Manage the operations of the offshore rig ensuring the well program is carried out in a safe, efficient and productive manner.

QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
• Accredited Bachelor’s Degree /Diploma in technical field of Study.
• Minimum 3-5 years’ experience as an Offshore Rig Superintendent role within the Oil and Gas Industry.
• Must have BOSIET/FOET and all Offshore Certificates (Compulsory)
