Our client is leading chemical business in India . They have offices in almost all the states in India. They are looking for safety manger and candidate should have knowledge about plant safety norms.

Job Profile:

• Should have fair knowledge on the process plant safety requirement and drive the safety culture in the organisation abiding by the safety policy.

• Should have knowledge on process safety of chemical plants
• Should capable to identify the hazards, risk analysis on safety, compliance of the factories as far as safety is concerned
• Should have fair knowledge on Road safety, Vehicle accidents.
• Should be aware of factory act, environmental and pollution laws, motor vehicles act, motor transport worker's act etc.
• Support senior management in complying with all internal and external safety and environmental requirements and in meeting site safety, reliability and efficiency goals abiding by the safety policy of the organization.
• Train the people in all aspects of Process safety management and SHEQ.
• Lead/support the Incident Investigation.
• Meeting Safety goals & KPI as per HSE Annual Plan
• Support senior management in statutory compliance monitoring for internal & external regulations.
• Escalate safety related issues/ red flags to the management in time to avoid major accident / incident.
• Conduct field safety inspections, audits and provide guidance to close gaps.
• Publish Periodic reports without follow up within target date.
• Hands on experience in field activities with respect to safety programs (SOS/ JSO/ PSSR/ FSI) etc.
• Establish procedures for emergency situations, remediation activities, first-aid facilities, relevant protective clothing and other safety equipment.
