We are having an excellent opportunity with a client, which is a global integrated infrastructure player with business spanning across key industry verticals of resources, logistics, energy and agro. Our Client is India's largest private thermal power producer.
Job Description:
• Develops, reviews, and amends company safety program management procedures.
• Review construction work instructions for safety considerations.
• Supports project-based Safety Supervisors as necessary in the program application.
• Coach/mentor field personnel on RES programs, policies, processes and procedures.
• Coordinates, and/or as necessary perform accident and incident investigations; capable of performing root cause analysis using Cause Mapping.
• Plans, coordinates, and performs site visits to all projects to mentor, review progress, and support site safety supervisors and operations personnel ensuring the site safety requirements are being met.
• Conducts project risk assessments/hazard analyses at construction projects, development sites, and operational facilities, and support the project team with hazard mitigation.
• Follows safety and security procedures and determines appropriate action. Reports potentially unsafe conditions and uses materials and equipment properly.
• Serves as a Site Safety Supervisor as needed.
• Delivers training to craft and management personnel.
• Develops, reviews and amends management system procedures from technical standards and company processes.
• Participates in the project planning phase, including developing site-specific safety plans, kickoff meetings, and preparatory phase meetings.
• Provide reports/communications to projects following sites and/or as required to ensure Safety Requirements are being met on projects.
• Translate existing internal processes into ISO 9001 and 14001 complaint program policies and procedures.
• Application of ISO or regulatory requirements.
• Safety regulations and standards applicable to North American construction works (including OSHA, EPA, NIOSH, etc.)
• Safety program auditing
• Professional, industry practices & ISO requirements
• Quality, Safety & Environmental experience
• Fall protection for working at heights
• Experience with Design phases/reviews
• Auditing & Inspection experience
• Communication skills
Qualifications:
B.E/ B. Tech in Engineering
