This role is based in Doha, Qatar.
Duties & responsiilities:
- Support environment team in driving the implementation of the organization’s environment strategy.
- Drive continual improvement in environmental performance through engagement with operational departments and business units.
- Support engagements with internal and external stakeholders to enhance the organization’s profile in environmental performance.
- Ensure the correct implementation of protocols for environmental data collection, verification, analysis, monitoring and reporting.
- Support environment reporting in line with international and local standards and global best practices (e.g., GRI, ESG Guidance).
- Promote a positive culture of sustainability through communications and participation in initiatives and activities.
- Identify non-compliance with regulatory obligations, international standards, and internal HSSEQ procedures through periodic audits and inspections.
- Report on environmental performance to line manager.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in an environment-related subject, or in any subject with further qualification in an environment-related subject.
- Auditor qualification (preferred Lead Auditor) for ISO14001 framework.
- 4–6 years of relevant experience.
- Demonstrable experience working with data.
- MENA experience an advantage.
- Proficiency in MS Office and web applications.
- Fluent spoken and written English (Arabic is an advantage).
- Strong knowledge of international best practices in environmental management.
- Skills in data analysis, auditing, and inspections.
