About the Role
We’re looking for a seasoned Senior Automated Logistics Engineer with extensive hands‑on experience working with automated logistics and in integrating IT and OT systems, particularly within pharma projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Designing and delivering fit-for-purpose automated logistics solutions in OT environments
- Integrating control systems with platforms such as SAP EWM, PAS‑X, fleet managers, DCS, and PLC solutions
- Contributing to standardisation efforts and alignment with target architectures
- Documenting, testing, and verifying solutions in new and existing facilities
- Collaborating with a broad stakeholder landscape across the company, customers, IT partners, and suppliers
Required Qualifications
- Education: Degree in a related field and 5+ years experience.
- Technical Skills:
- Experience working with automated logistics and complex data structures in industrial environments
- Understanding of integration between IT and OT systems, including ERP, MES, and DCS/PCS layers
- Experience with system integration testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting
- Familiarity with industrial networks and communication protocols such as OPC‑UA and Profinet
- Knowledge of GMP / GAMP requirements in pharmaceutical or other regulated industries
