TRS Staffing is searching for a Senior Buyer in Selkirk, New York or MT Vernon, Indiana

JOB DESCRIPTION/ EDUCATION
• Able to create effective market approaches, cost models and action plans to manage the work
• Cross-functional experience, and the ability to manage multiple tasks
• CIPS / CMCP or equivalent certification preferred
• Good interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills
• Trained and highly skilled in SAP ERP system including, Material Management Module (i.e. Purchasing – PR to PO creation) and Services Module (Invoicing viewing).
• Skilled in complex negotiations
• Cross-functional working team experience
• Good interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
• Demonstrated ability to multitask projects
• Good quantitative and analytical, conceptual and planning skills
• Highly skilled with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and projects) or equivalent
• Bachelor’s degree in related field from an accredited university or equivalent experience accepted (Prefer Procurement, Supply Chain, Finance, Business Management, Audit, Sales)
• 3-5 years’ experience in related field (procurement, commercial, manufacturing, product management, finance, audit or sales)
• Highly skilled with MS and related reporting computer software including Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and MS Projects or equivalent
Experience (technical, functional, and/or leadership experience required)


Page Range Between $35 - $50/ hour depending on experience
