"TRS Staffing Solutions has an exciting opportunity for a SENIOR ELECTRICAL ENGINEER to offer expertise within the electrical engineering aspect on several turnkey projects throughout the African Continent for our Client based in CENTURION, GAUTENG.”
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Provide technical consulting services to our customers.
- Produce and integrates engineering solutions/designs for assert creation on behalf of customers at various stages of project life cycle.
- Key functions will include the following:
- Conduct technical evaluations, supporting planning, design, and construction.
- Perform project administration including preparing reports, gathering information, drafting proposals, drafting correspondence, and completing progress reports.
- Design and implement the pumping system of the water abstraction plant including the piping to the water treatment plant.
- Design and implement the pumping system of the water treatment plant and assist in the construction of the water treatment systems e.g. Sedimentation tanks, Flocculators etc.
- Design and implement the chemical dosing pumping systems.
- Design and implement the pumping system from the water treatment plant to the booster station.
- Follow safe work practices and use company guidelines and policies for planning and executing work in a safe manner that ensures personal safety, as well as the safety of fellow employees.
- Advice, design and implement all the required mechanical structures of the water treatment plant.
- Interface with project managers and other engineering field on the design and implement the project.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EPERIENCE / MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Sc. or BEng in Electrical Engineering PrEng (ECSA Registered as a professional Engineer)
- Experience of managing a team of junior engineers and
- Minimum 15 and more years in engineering design, management and Construction.
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in performing electrical/mechanical design
- Extensive experience in design and construction of steel water pipeline, pump stations, reservoirs, abstraction works and water treatment plants.
- Proficiency in the use of MS Office, MS Project, various Electrical and water design software.
- Drivers License is Essential.
