Senior Electrical Engineer

TRS Staffing Solutions has an exciting long-term opportunity for Senior Electrical Engineer to work for one of the largest integrated design and construction firms in Vancouver, BC. Key Responsibilities:
• Work on diverse projects within electrical building fields such as communication systems, life safety systems, lightning systems, and power distribution.
• Perform condition assessment and review existing electrical systems to evaluate their effectiveness and generate reports
• Collaborate and coordinate with other engineers and architects to ensure excellent services throughout project delivery processes
• Act as the primary contact with clients and manage multi-disciplinary projects
• Provide technical support/advisory to clients related to electrical engineering
• Perform technical reviews and verification checks on project designs, specifications etc.
• Responsible for activities such as contract administration, field reviews and multi-disciplinary project management
• Perform other duties as required

Key Requirements/ Qualifications
• Have extensive knowledge in building construction and building electrical systems
• Proficiency in working with ETAP, AutoCAD, Revit
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Related/direct local work experience in electrical engineering or related fields is a must
• Eligible for EGBC registration or have existing EGBC registration
• Excellent Electrical engineering knowledge and project management skills
• Experience with building retrofitting
• Credentials in LEED AP, and PMP are assets but not required
