With a strong focus on OCTG, line pipe, and related services, the organization supports upstream oil and gas operations through reliable sourcing, inventory management, logistics coordination, and inspection solutions. Backed by industry experience and an established supplier network, the Client is known for delivering quality products, operational efficiency, and responsive customer support across domestic and international markets.

Job Description:
The Senior Financial Analyst will work closely with the CFO of a Houston-based steel pipe distribution company to support global financial operations, banking relationships, treasury management, and financial reporting. The role requires strong expertise in international banking systems, cross-border fund management, and US accounting standards. The analyst will play a key role in managing financial reporting, liquidity planning, funding arrangements, and banking coordination across regions including India, UAE, and Saudi Arabia (KSA) while ensuring compliance with US GAAP and maintaining accurate records in QuickBooks.

 Key Responsibilities:

 
    • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with US GAAP. • Maintain and oversee financial records using QuickBooks.
    • Perform reconciliations for bank accounts, intercompany transactions, and ledgers.
    • Support financial closeness and ensure timely reporting to the CFO.
    • Assist in preparing management reports, dashboards, and financial analysis.
    • Manage and monitor banking relationships across multiple jurisdictions.
    • Coordinate international transactions and payments between entities.
    • Oversee cash flow monitoring and liquidity planning.
    • Ensure smooth cross-border remittances and compliance with applicable banking regulations.
    • Optimize bank charges, FX exposure, and payment processes.
    • Assist CFO in raising working capital and structured financing.
    • Ensure compliance with international financial regulations and remittance rules.
    • Support documentation for cross-border payments and regulatory filings.

Required Skills and qualifications:
 
    • Chartered Accountant (CA), CPA, CFA, or MBA Finance Experience
    • 5–10+ years in financial analysis, treasury, or corporate finance
    • Experience with international banking and cross-border payments
    • Exposure to metals, commodities, trading, or distribution industries preferred Technical Skills
    • Strong knowledge of US GAAP
    • Proficiency in QuickBooks
    • Advanced Excel / Financial Modeling
    • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills
    • Ability to work independently with remote leadership
    • High attention to detail and financial accuracy
    • Strong communication with international stakeholders
    • Ability to work in Houston time zone Preferred Experience
    • Exposure to steel trading, metals distribution, or commodity trading
    • Experience dealing with US banks, UAE banks, and Indian banking systems
    • Familiarity with LC documentation and trade finance structure

Additional Functions & Responsibilities:
    • Prepare board and investor financial reports.
    • Support due diligence for financing, audits, or strategic partnerships.
    • Develop internal financial controls and SOPs.
    • Assist in ERP/financial system improvements where necessary.
    • Monitor global commodity price trends affecting steel pipe distribution.
