We are currently seeking a high caliber Geotechnical Engineer (Senior Level) for a long-term basis within our client’s team of experienced professionals. Based in Diamond Bar, CA.

This vast list of project experience includes services for virtually every type of public and private client associated with industrial, commercial and infrastructure projects.
Job Overview:
This individual will work on a very broad variety of projects for federal, state, and local agencies and private clients on water retention and flood control structures, quarries, and mines, transportation structures, landfill design and landfill redevelopment projects, and conventional development projects in the Southwest and periodically nation- and world-wide.
Job Responsibilities:
- Plan and supervise a variety of geotechnical laboratory tests to assess soil and rock properties, ensuring accurate and reliable results.
- Conduct thorough geotechnical analyses, utilizing specialized software and tools, to evaluate site conditions and provide valuable insights for engineering projects.
- Develop practical and effective geotechnical recommendations based on comprehensive analyses, ensuring the stability and safety of structures and foundations.
- Prepare detailed and clear reports summarizing geotechnical findings, analyses, and recommendations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Engage in on-site field monitoring to assess and validate geotechnical conditions, providing real-time feedback to enhance project outcomes.
- Collaborate with project teams to incorporate geotechnical considerations into overall project planning, ensuring alignment with engineering objectives.
- Implement and maintain quality assurance protocols for geotechnical processes, ensuring consistency and accuracy in all aspects of the work.
- Foster a dynamic and team-oriented work environment, collaborating with colleagues from various disciplines to achieve project goals efficiently.
- Stay abreast of advancements in geotechnical engineering, attend relevant workshops or conferences, and apply new knowledge to improve practices within the team. Effectively communicate geotechnical findings and recommendations to clients, addressing inquiries and building strong relationships to ensure client satisfaction.
Job Qualifications:
- Project Level position should have 8+ years of experience.
- MSc in Geotechnical Engineering or related field is the minimum requirement. PhD preferred.
- Advanced expertise in a related field such as seismic & earthquake engineering, numerical modeling (FLAC, Plaxis, GeoStudio), risk assessment, dam engineering, harbors, marine/coastal, and tunneling is preferred.
- Marking inclination not at all required, but welcome.
- Interest in management not required, but welcome.
- Perfect written and communication skills required.
- Genuine interest in geotechnical Engineering required.
- Experience with any of the following agency requirement is preferred: USCOE, FEMA, FERC, Caltrans, AREMA, CCR, Title 27/CFR 40, CA OMR, and CGS/DSA.
