Senior Manager – Clean Energy Investment & Development

TRS Middle East is working with a key player in the clean energy sector, focusing on renewable power generation, energy storage, and sustainable project development.

Responsibilities

• Project Origination & Development: Identify and evaluate investment opportunities in solar PV, EV infrastructure, and water security sectors; lead early-stage project development.
• Investment Analysis & Structuring: Conduct financial modeling, risk assessment, and due diligence; develop bankable project structures; engage with financial institutions for project financing.
• Strategic Partnerships & Business Development: Build relationships with government agencies, private sector clients, and technology suppliers; lead business development initiatives; represent the company in forums and negotiations.
• Sustainability & ESG Integration: Integrate ESG principles into project development and investment; monitor ESG impact reporting and compliance.
• Team Leadership & Coordination: Manage cross-functional project teams; support internal capacity building and mentor junior team members.

Qualifications

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Finance, Energy, Sustainability, or related fields; Master's or MBA preferred.
• 7–12 years of experience in clean energy project development and/or infrastructure investment.
• Proven track record in solar PV, EV infrastructure, water treatment, or battery storage projects.
• Strong financial modeling, investment analysis, and contract negotiation skills.
• Experience with government agencies, utilities, and funding institutions.
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and clean energy policy across GCC, MENA, or global south markets.
