Site Administrative Assistant (Contract) – Fort Worth, TX


Location: North Fort Worth
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM (5×10s)
Work Arrangement: 100% onsite
Assignment Type: Contract (Estimated 10 months; project phases may extend through 2026–2027)
Start Date: ASAP (goal: start within 2 weeks)

 


About the Role

TRS is seeking a Site Administrative Assistant to support a long-term service and maintenance project involving new construction and installation of research and development equipment. The role is administrative in nature and supports multiple functions including safety, materials management, project documentation, and general office coordination.

This is an excellent opportunity for candidates experienced in construction or industrial project environments who are comfortable with early start times and a 10‑hour workday.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide daily administrative support to site leadership and project teams.
  • Assist Safety (HSE) with:
    • Document retention and flow
    • Tracking permits, licenses, and worker certifications
    • Daily compliance documentation and updates
  • Support Materials Management with:
    • Organizing receipts and shipping documents
    • Filing and vendor documentation
  • Manage document control: filing, scanning, SharePoint updates, job bulletins, data entry.
  • Prepare Microsoft Office deliverables (Excel tracking, PowerPoint slide merging, forms, etc.).
  • Coordinate lunch orders and occasional executive support needs.
  • Maintain organized office processes within the offsite facility.

Top Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong computer skills, particularly within the Microsoft Office Suite (beyond basic; intermediate Excel and PowerPoint experience preferred).
  • Administrative experience supporting construction, industrial, or project‑based teams.
  • High attention to detail for managing safety and materials documentation.
  • Strong organizational abilities—filing, tracking, data entry, scanning, SharePoint.
  • Ability to work a demanding schedule (early start + 10‑hour days).
  • Reliable commute to the Alliance-area worksite (candidates will be asked about commute expectations).

Work Environment & Requirements

  • Office-based role with proximity to warehouse operations.
  • Construction-oriented dress code:
    • Sturdy pants (no sweatpants)
    • Long sleeves required when visiting field areas
    • Steel‑toed boots (can be kept at desk)
    • Additional PPE provided as needed
