An opportunity to work for a Leader in Renewable Energy, on one of their newest battery energy projects in Germany.
The right candidate will be a seasoned Site Manager / Bauleiter experienced in the supervision, leadership, and management of large construction sites.
Responsabilities
- Acts as the client’s representative on site, engaging with the general contractor, neighbouring facilities, and relevant authorities.
- Serves as the main point of contact for the general contractor and the client’s suppliers, coordinating and supervising all supplier activities on site.
- Manages interfaces with nearby power plant operations and engineering teams located off-site.
- Oversees construction and commissioning activities on behalf of the client and ensures compliance with health, safety, and environmental requirements.
- Monitors the performance of component suppliers and the general contractor, including commissioning of key equipment such as battery containers, converters, and MV/HV transformers.
- Operates as a second-line client representative, while the general contractor retains full responsibility for site management, safety, permits, and regulatory compliance.
- Electrical engineering training/degree with practical experience in the construction of energy industry facilities
- Experience in the supervision, leadership, and management of large construction sites.
- Experience in monitoring occupational safety.
- Experience in commissioning electrical engineering systems? 10 kV desirable
- Good verbal and written communication skills with the general contractor, suppliers, colleagues on site, and colleagues at headquarters in Essen.
