Join Our Team as a Site Manager!
We’re partnering with a leading EPC contractor on an exciting project based in near Newcastle, and we’re looking for a skilled Site Manager to take charge and deliver excellence on-site.
- Initial 12-month contract
- Site-based role
- Outside IR35

Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact between General Contractor, the end-client, and consortium partner.
- Lead and manage the construction project from start to finish, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Oversee all construction activities, including site preparation, power plant construction, equipment installation, and infrastructure development.
- Provide technical guidance and support throughout the construction process, ensuring compliance with regulations, codes, and standards.
- Collaborate with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers, supervising their work to ensure alignment with project specifications.
- Implement quality control procedures and conduct inspections to maintain the highest construction standards.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks, addressing issues promptly and effectively.
- Promote clear communication and cooperation with engineers, designers, consultants, and local authorities.
- Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and foster a safety-first culture on-site.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reporting to all project stakeholders.
Requirements
- Relevant experience in managing large-scale industrial or energy construction projects.
- University degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering.
- Proficiency in MS Office; experience with project management tools is a plus.
- Certification in Project Management is an asset.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills.
