In this very exciting role, the qualified candidate will maintain high standards of excellence, while ensuring solid customer relationships. Some duties include assisting in routine administrative details with general department administration, booking meetings and scheduling management.
Job Duties:
- Manage administrative functions including office space, office services, field accounting, and timekeeping
- Education all employees on personnel policies (e.g. harassment, Equal Employment Opportunity, etc)
- Typically manage personnel and provide and environment for the development and professional advancement of staff
- Organize and prioritize a variety of complex projects and tasks in a timely manner, set priorities and meet deadlines
- Coordinate union craft payroll and maintain all associated records
- Establish requirements for space, furniture and office equipment
Qualifications:
- Accredited degree in applicable field of study
- Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, etc
- Job related technical knowledge
- Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines
- Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner
- 15+ years of experience in a similar role
