SPI Designer

TRS Staffing is seeking an SPI Designer who will be responsible for all SPI wiring for a contract role with a global EPC in Houston, TX.

General Job Requirement

• 5+ Years of Control Systems/Instrumentation experience
• 5+ Years of Past use of INtools, SmartPlant Instrumentation (SPI) or Smart Instrumentation

Must Haves:

• Knowledge of Instrumentation
• Proficient in SPI (InTools) loading instrument data to produce and generate strip reports and loops . They will interface with the client SPI Admin Coordinator
• Understanding of signal wiring (including Fire & Gas devices)
• Good communication skills

Other skills that would be helpful:

• Autocad
• Perform MTO's
• Ability to check discipline deliverables (cable schedule, instrument plans, index, etc)
• Knowledge of Emerson CHARMS
• Upstream experience
• 3D model reviewer (ie Navisworks)
