Sr Civil Structural Engineer

For an innovative project in the renewable energy sector, TRS Staffing Solutions is looking for a Sr Civil Structural Engineer in the Randstad Area (NL). This project is focused on enabling the future of energy and will have a large impact on the world of tomorrow.

Scope of activities:
The Sr Civil Structural Engineer will be responsible for Engineering and Designing (greenfield) installations and plants for producing renewable energy.

Key Responsibilities:
• Writing and reviewing invitations to bid, scopes of work, project execution plans.
• Cooperating with third parties and project disciplines, construction site.
• Guiding and executing the design/engineering.
• Progress reporting and project planning.
The Sr Civil Structural Engineer will be responsible for working within the budget and meeting project schedule.

Requested:
• BSc or MSC degree in Civil or Structural engineering.
• Design of layout drawings, concrete formwork and rebar drawings and structural steel engineering drawings.
• Knowledge of typical concrete and steel structures, such as equipment foundations, pipe racks, platforms, etc. as applicable in the process industry.
• At least 10 years relevant engineering and design experience in EPC projects within the petrochemical industry.
• Good communication and social skills.
• Proactive and pragmatic attitude.
• Leadership skills.
• Knowledge of resource planning and estimating.
• Good command of English is a must, knowledge of the Dutch language is considered a big advantage.
• You are willing (and able) to travel when required (planned, short trips, mainly Europe).
• You are already living and working in the Randstad Area in the Netherlands.
