Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented professional Capable and responsible to design various systems of Piping independently and modelling of Piping elements including all control valves & inline instruments considering instrument hook ups requirements etc. Candidates will be responsible for the Design and Model growth in time for Internal & Client reviews considering all general design standards & project specific standards.
Job Description.
- Shall have thorough knowledge of Layout, Design basis, various systems Pipe routing considering Safety, Accessibility, Operability, Maintainability & Clash free Design.
- Capable and responsible to design independently and modelling of Equipment’s with the proper orientations, nozzle elevations fixing considering Piping & Instruments connections, Material handling aspects, Accessibility aspects etc.,
- Shall be responsible for Model review comments closure with proper resolution (after getting guidance from LEAD Engineer / Sr. Engineer wherever necessary)
- Shall have proper coordination with Application (S3D) Administrators to have required customization in Specifications & cataloguing requirements and Isometrics, GADs & Reports Customization requirements before proceeding any deliverables.
- Shall have thorough knowledge on Pipe Support standards, supports selections, support modelling and generate Support GAD & supports details drawings.
- Structure modelling for STAAD analysis for specific critical items (like special pipe supports) and incorporation of changes as per analysis results.
- Design shall meet Oil & Gas industry standard, project design standards & specification within specified time
- Responsible for generation of Piping Isometrics after Design checks, updating TODO listing checks in S3D, Isometrics Checking comments incorporation etc.
- Responsible for Generation of all type of GADs (Equipment Layout, Framing Plan, Elevations, Piping GAD, Piping Supports GAD etc.)
- Responsible for Generation of all type of MTO & Reports (Piping MTO, Valves MTO, Fasteners MTO, Painting MTO, Insulation MTO, Weight Report, COG Report etc.,)
- Knowledge of the principal roles of other design & engineering groups and the ability to use input from Layout and other disciplines by proper coordination.
- Assessing, checking & utilization of vendor drawing as per project design & construction requirement.
