Sr Instrumentation / DCS Engineer

Managing and completing a wide range of Instrumentation functions:
• Review and approve project specifications of DCS systems, ESD PLC system,s F&G PLC’s and other package PLC’s
• Knowledge on programming in PLC and DCS
• Review and approve project specifications of GCs and field analyzers.
• Knowledge of instrumentation standards.
• Awareness on standards maintenance practices in petrochemicals or similar industries.
• prepare the specification of field instruments.
• prepare the weekly/monthly report generation.
• Proactively assist to technicians for trouble shooting problem and give training as & when required.
• Review and approve project specifications of field instrumentation such as mass flow, vortex flow, ultrasonic flow and level, radar level, MOVs, control valves and in situ analysers.
• Review and approve project specifications of loop wiring diagram-, logic diagram- and pneumatic hook design.
• Fault finding in field panel wiring, DCS and PLC marshaling cabinets, JBs and field instruments.
• Review and approve project specifications of the instrument maintenance procedure and calibration procedures.
• Review and approve project specifications of gas detectors in process area and buildings.
