Our client is focusing on developing long term relationships with customers in revamping, debottlenecking and expanding the production capacity of their existing facilities in the process Industry.
The Bergen op Zoom, Rotterdam & Stein offices provide the full project execution services: from conceptual engineering through detailed design, commissioning and construction support. We have the unique market capacity to offer integrated solutions to our clients. This includes fabrication, modularization and maintenance. The target industries are: Oil & Gas, Chemicals, Renewable Energy solutions, life science and advanced manufacturing.
We currently seek a high calibre Senior Piping Stress Engineer to work on a contract basis for the duration of the project (+6 months). Based in Haarlem, you will be working for one of the world’s leading engineering, procurement & construction companies to the Oil, Gas & Petrochemical sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- As Senior Pipe Stress Engineer you will be responsible for the piping engineering and design on a variety of oil refineries and chemical plants, grass roots as well as revamp projects.
- Performing manual and computer stress analysis of pipe systems with regard to code limitations, client & government regulations and equipment criteria
- Selection and specification of piping flexibility and supporting components
- Reviewing vendor drawings and calculations, vendor selection and preparation of technical procurement documents & bid summaries for special pipe and support components
Proven Experience
- More than 10 years related experience
- Detailed design project (EPC) execution
- Experience with Caesar II software
