TRS Staffing Solutions has exciting opportunities for a Structural Engineering Lead role to work for one of Canada's top employers and a global leader in the Engineering, Procurement, Construction Management industry.

Responsibilities:
 

• Lead structural and civil engineering efforts across all project phases, from feasibility to detailed design.
• Translate organizational strategies into actionable engineering procedures and best practices.
• Oversee the development of technical specifications, design criteria, and procurement documentation.
• Conduct and lead design reviews, ensuring alignment with project goals and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and external partners to ensure seamless project execution.
• Provide technical oversight on estimates, schedules, and progress tracking.
• Evaluate vendor proposals and participate in technical bid assessments.
• Monitor key material quantities and provide accurate forecasting and analysis.
• Perform additional tasks as required.

Qualifications
 

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Minimum of 20 years of engineering experience, including leadership on large-scale projects.
• Professional Engineering (P.Eng.) designation in a Canadian province.
• Strong understanding of applicable codes, standards, and regulatory frameworks.
• Proven ability to manage complex schedules, budgets, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience with field engineering, construction support, and project close-out processes.
• Proficiency in engineering software and tools, along with strong communication and reporting skills.
• A collaborative mindset and a commitment to delivering high-quality, technically sound solutions.
