Key Responsibilities
- Draft, negotiate, and administer downstream subcontracts aligned to head contract requirements
- Manage subcontracts from award through execution, variations, and close‑out
- Identify and mitigate contractual and commercial risks
- Manage variations, claims, and support dispute resolution
- Work closely with site teams to manage subcontractor performance and interfaces
- Support cost control, payments, and commercial reporting with PM and Finance teams
- Act as the key point of contact for sub contractual matters
Experience
- 8+ years’ experience in subcontract or contracts management within EPC, construction, energy, or infrastructure projects
- Proven experience managing downstream subcontracts in site‑based environments
- Working knowledge of NEC AND FIDIC frameworks
- Strong track record managing variations, claims, and subcontract close‑out
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Proficient in MS Office; contract management or ERP systems experience is an advantage
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Law, Business Administration, or a related discipline
- Master’s degree or professional accreditation (RICS, CICES, or similar) is an advantage
