Superintendent

Our client, a leading General Contractor with projects worldwide, is currently recruiting for a Construction Superintendent for their project in Toronto, ON. This is a great opportunity for an individual looking to join a multinational corporation with a strong presence in construction and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have previous experience with mechanical and electrical systems on projects, budgeting and scheduling, and coordinating subcontractor work.

In this very exciting role, the selected candidate will be creating and implementing strategies for projects schedules and budget. Their daily responsibilities include monitoring and coordinating subcontractor activities, providing technical engineering support with interpretation of designs, and providing guidance on mechanical and electrical system tests.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline such as Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience working in similar environments as a superintendent
Must have experience with structural, pressure piping and heavy civil construction
Advanced communication skills
