Position: Manager II, Operations & Maintenance

This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with advanced knowledge and proven experience in operations and maintenance management. You’ll oversee maintenance and operations support activities for small to medium-sized contracts, small capital projects, and less complex sites/projects within the O&M function. You’ll also supervise entry-level personnel and/or maintenance supervisors while driving performance and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain strong client relationships through regular communication and quarterly interviews
• Serve as the primary point of contact for the Client Plant Manager
• Ensure compliance with contract requirements and Operating System Implementation Plan (OSIP)
• Monitor and manage business risk, including site profit and loss
• Identify future client needs and up-selling opportunities through on-site assessments
• Support sales efforts with presentations, estimates, proposals, and commercial negotiations
• Develop and monitor Site Business Plans (SBP), budgets, and performance metrics
• Manage personnel development, training programs, and performance feedback
• Promote a safe work environment with proactive health and safety programs
• Analyze complex problems and recommend solutions aligned with organizational objectives
• Maintain compliance with all applicable policies, procedures, and global standards

Qualifications:

• Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in applicable field and six (6) years of related experience
• OR combination of education and experience totaling ten (10) years if non-degreed
• Strong communication skills across all levels (management, clients, vendors, contractors)
• Advanced technical knowledge and ability to apply local, state, and federal regulations
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
