Position: Manager II, Operations & Maintenance

Type: Full-Time
This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with advanced knowledge and proven experience in operations and maintenance management. You’ll oversee maintenance and operations support activities for small to medium-sized contracts, small capital projects, and less complex sites/projects within the O&M function. You’ll also supervise entry-level personnel and/or maintenance supervisors while driving performance and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain strong client relationships through regular communication and quarterly interviews
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the Client Plant Manager
- Ensure compliance with contract requirements and Operating System Implementation Plan (OSIP)
- Monitor and manage business risk, including site profit and loss
- Identify future client needs and up-selling opportunities through on-site assessments
- Support sales efforts with presentations, estimates, proposals, and commercial negotiations
- Develop and monitor Site Business Plans (SBP), budgets, and performance metrics
- Manage personnel development, training programs, and performance feedback
- Promote a safe work environment with proactive health and safety programs
- Analyze complex problems and recommend solutions aligned with organizational objectives
- Maintain compliance with all applicable policies, procedures, and global standards
Qualifications:
- Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in applicable field and six (6) years of related experience
- OR combination of education and experience totaling ten (10) years if non-degreed
- Strong communication skills across all levels (management, clients, vendors, contractors)
- Advanced technical knowledge and ability to apply local, state, and federal regulations
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
